We are conducting the Post-Graduation Pathways Survey to better understand the diverse journeys our undergraduates (from 2022 to 2025) take after leaving Baku State University. This survey focuses on your activities within the first 12 months after graduation, including further studies, employment, and other experiences.

Overview of the Survey

Last Graduate Employment Survey covered a total of 4,791 graduates, with 4,575 respondents, representing a strong response rate of 95.5% and ensuring a high level of data reliability and representativeness. Among respondents, 4,381 graduates (95.8%) are currently employed, while only 92 graduates (2.0%) are unemployed, indicating very strong labor market integration. In addition, 898 graduates (19.6%) are pursuing full-time further study, and 143 (3.1%) are unavailable for work. The median graduate salary is 767 USD, reflecting solid early-career earning potential. Overall, the employability rate stands at 97.9%, demonstrating excellent graduate outcomes and the institution’s strong alignment with labor market demands.


Sector-wise Employment Distribution

Graduates from the class of 2024 have been employed across a variety of industries, including but not limited to:

  • Education: A significant number of graduates have chosen careers in teaching and academic research, contributing to the development of future generations.

  • Business and Finance: Many graduates have secured roles in banking, finance, and management, highlighting the versatility of their education.

  • Technology and Engineering: Graduates entering this sector demonstrate their ability to thrive in the ever-evolving technological landscape.

These results illustrate the diverse career opportunities available to graduates and emphasize the institution's role in fostering versatile professionals.

  • The high employment rate of 97.9% showcases the effectiveness of career services and the relevance of the curriculum in preparing graduates for the workforce.

  • The significant number of graduates pursuing further studies reflects the institution’s focus on promoting advanced learning and research.

  • The median salary of 767 USD highlights the competitiveness of our graduates in the labor market, making them valuable assets to employers across sectors.

Furthermore, the low unemployment rate is a testament to the institution's success in connecting students with employers through internships, career fairs, and industry partnerships.
