REPORT ON SDG 16: PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS

Baku State University (hereinafter - BSU) actively contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 16 by fostering a diverse and inclusive governance structure, supporting students through an independent student union, and engaging with local stakeholders. BSU provides expert advice to government bodies, offers capacity-building initiatives for policymakers, conducts policy-focused research in collaboration with government departments, and provides a neutral platform for open discussions. Additionally, the Criminal Law Association at BSU promotes free exchange of ideas and values through social media. These initiatives collectively reflect BSU's dedication to promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions in its academic and societal engagements.
