Climate Action Network for International Educators (CANIE)


The Climate Action Network for International Educators (CANIE) is a global, grassroots initiative created by and for international education professionals. It focuses on addressing the climate crisis within the field of international higher education by promoting sustainable practices, reducing the sector’s carbon footprint, and integrating climate action into internationalization strategies.

Baku State University (BSU) is a member of CANIE, which underlines its commitment to embedding sustainability and climate responsibility into its internationalization agenda.
