REPORT ON SDG 16: PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS

Baku State University (hereinafter - BSU) actively contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 16 by fostering a diverse and inclusive governance structure, supporting students through an independent student union, and engaging with local stakeholders. BSU provides expert advice to government bodies, offers capacity-building initiatives for policymakers, conducts policy-focused research in collaboration with government departments, and provides a neutral platform for open discussions. Additionally, the Criminal Law Association at BSU promotes free exchange of ideas and values ​​through social media. These initiatives collectively reflect BSU's dedication to promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions in its academic and societal engagements.
