Research on SDG 4

Introduction:

Baku State University (BSU) actively contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which aims to ensure inclusive, equitable, and quality education while promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. Recognizing that education is the foundation for personal growth, social development, and economic progress, BSU emphasizes research that enhances teaching methodologies, curriculum design, digital learning, and higher education policy.

BSU’s research under SDG 4 focuses on key areas including student-centered learning, the integration of digital and AI-based educational tools, curriculum modernization, access to education, and capacity-building for educators. The university explores innovative approaches to address challenges such as disparities in educational access, alignment with labor market needs, and the promotion of skills for the 21st-century workforce.

Through collaboration with national and international partners, BSU develops evidence-based strategies to improve learning outcomes, foster educational equity, and strengthen institutional capacities. By combining theoretical insights with practical interventions, BSU’s initiatives support lifelong learning, contribute to educational innovation, and advance the broader goal of inclusive and high-quality education in Azerbaijan and beyond.
