Active and outstanding members of the Student Trade Union Committee (THIK) at Baku State University (BSU) were recognized for their contributions across various areas.
Ramin Samedov, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Policy at BSU, noted that the fundamental principles of youth policy in Azerbaijan were established 29 years ago by National Leader Heydar Aliyev during the First Forum of Azerbaijani Youth. He highlighted that as a result of this policy, young people have become a driving force in society, and BSU students have become an integral part of this policy through their active participation in the country’s social and civic life.
Zohrab Javadzade, Chair of BSU THIK, congratulated the awarded students and emphasized that THIK, as one of the main student organizations at the University, plays a key role in campus life. He also discussed THIK’s projects aimed at protecting students’ social welfare, supporting their initiatives, and organizing their leisure activities effectively.
Certificates of appreciation were subsequently presented to the faculty, department, and club chairs of BSU THIK, as well as to the active members of its executive board.
