A simulation conference of the World Economic Forum was held at Baku State University (Baku State University) upon the initiative of volunteers representing the Faculty of International Relations and Economics within the “BSU Volunteers” organization.
Chair of the Faculty of International Relations and Economics branch of the “BSU Volunteers” organization, Ismayil Ibrahimov, stated that the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies, which occupy an important place on the agenda of the World Economic Forum, directly influence the economic, political, and social policies of states in the contemporary era.
He emphasized that such simulation conferences make a significant contribution to students’ ability to analyze global challenges, better understand decision-making processes on international platforms, and develop innovative thinking skills. It was also noted that the proper governance of artificial intelligence principles, the establishment of ethical frameworks, and ensuring that technologies serve human well-being are among the major priorities of the future.
Within the framework of the simulation conference, participants represented leaders of various countries and chief executive officers of multinational corporations, conducting discussions on a range of global issues.
During the sessions, particular attention was paid to public-private partnerships in economic growth processes and approaches to global risk management.
Following the discussions, participants consolidated their proposals and adopted a final resolution aimed at promoting joint action against global challenges.
At the conclusion of the conference, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants.
