Baku State University joins the “Future17” initiative launched by QS and the University of Exeter
Baku State University (Baku State University) has joined the international “Future17” initiative aimed at promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A cooperation agreement has been signed between the parties in this regard.
The global initiative is jointly implemented by the internationally recognized ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and University of Exeter. The project brings together universities, students, and business partners on a unified platform to develop innovative solutions in the field of sustainable development.
Within the framework of the project, students of Baku State University will participate in international teams working on projects focused on addressing real-world social and environmental challenges. Through this process, students will gain practical knowledge and professional competencies in sustainable development, innovation, digital technologies, and collaborative teamwork.
In addition, participants will have opportunities to establish cooperation with higher education institutions from different countries, international experts, and industry partners, while also engaging in global academic and professional networks.
The participation of Baku State University in the “Future17” initiative represents an important step toward strengthening the university’s international partnerships, increasing its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, and enhancing students’ competencies in line with global challenges.
The initiative also creates broad opportunities for BSU students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in an international environment, collaborate with peers from different countries, and contribute to building a more sustainable future.
