Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

At Baku State University (BSU), the "Sky Observation Festival 2024" (SOF 2024) has kicked off with astronomical observation days. Supported financially by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the project aims to increase students' interest in astronomy and familiarize them with modern research and advanced technologies used in the field.

On the first day of the project, an initial round of the "Astronomy Quiz" competition was held among participants. Six teams competed in this preliminary round, where they were asked 10 questions. The top five teams with the highest scores advanced to the next stage of the festival.

Following this, students received technical training on how to use telescopes. Festival participants observed the Sun and solar spots through telescopes at the Student Scientific and Technical Creativity Center of BSU.

It should be noted that from August 1-3, various masterclasses and astronomical observation events will be organized on the following days of the festival.
