Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Associate Professor Alamdar Jabbarli, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Document Management at Baku State University (BSU), visited Bartin University in the Republic of Türkiye.

During the visit, the Dean met with the Rector of Bartin University, Professor Ahmet Akkaya. At the meeting, detailed information was provided about the educational environment in Azerbaijan, as well as the history and current development of BSU and its Faculty of Information and Document Management. It was noted that cooperation between the Department of Information and Document Management at Bartin University and the corresponding faculty at BSU has been developing across various platforms, including the organization of joint international scientific conferences, master classes, and academic seminars.

Rector Ahmet Akkaya highly appreciated the partnership with BSU, one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Azerbaijan. The meeting was also attended by Associate Professor Ahmet Altay, Head of the Department of Information and Document Management at the Faculty of Literature of Bartin University.

The parties exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the faculties, including expanding the scope of academic exchange programs, implementing joint projects, exploring the possibility of dual degree programs, and conducting collaborative scientific research. In addition, a proposal was put forward to organize a joint international student scientific conference hosted by Bartin University in March 2025.
