Results of BSU’s “Young Scientist of the Year” competition announced

The results of the “Young Scientist of the Year” competition dedicated to February 2 – Azerbaijan Youth Day have been announced at Baku State University (BSU).

According to the decision of the Competition Commission, Muhammad Bagir Bagirov, a research fellow at the Nano-Research Scientific Laboratory of the Center of Excellence for Research, Development and Innovation at BSU and a doctoral candidate of the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials, has been selected as the “Young Scientist of the Year” in the field of natural sciences, exact sciences, and engineering. He was awarded a diploma and a monetary prize.

It should be noted that BSU has been announcing the “Young Scientist of the Year” competition for six consecutive years in connection with February 2 – Azerbaijan Youth Day. The purpose of the competition is to recognize and reward BSU master’s students, doctoral candidates, and staff under the age of 35 who have demonstrated active engagement throughout the year and achieved high scientific results.
