Training on “Nanotechnologies and Nanotechnological Aspects” Held at Baku State University
An awareness-raising training titled “Nanotechnologies and Nanotechnological Aspects” was organized at Baku State University (BSU) within the framework of joint cooperation between the “BSU Volunteers” organization and volunteers of the Baku ASAN Service Center No. 5.
During the training, Habiba Shirinova, lecturer at the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials of the Faculty of Physics at BSU and PhD in Physics, provided participants with information on the scientific foundations of nanotechnology, the history of its emergence, and its modern stages of development. She also spoke about the application possibilities of nanotechnologies in medicine, engineering, electronics, materials science, and other fields, as well as future development prospects.
As part of the training, participants visited the “Nanoresearch” Scientific Research Laboratory of BSU. During the visit, detailed information was provided on the ongoing research activities, modern technological equipment used in the laboratory, and the main stages of scientific research.
