10 BSU students graduate from the Supporting Education for Young Girls project

On June 23, the Graduation Day ceremony for participants of the “Supporting Education for Young Girls” project was held in cooperation with the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Education Development Fund.

The Graduation Day event celebrated the perseverance and achievements of female students who were admitted to higher education institutions with high scores in 2021 and participated in the “Hanifa Malikova-Zardabi Scholarship Program for Girls’ Education” and the “You Are Not Alone” project, including the support program for the education of martyr wives, under the theme “Steps Towards a Confident Future.”

The ceremony was attended by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Chairperson of the Board of the Education Development Fund Elnur Nasibov, members of parliament, representatives of the public, and students.

Among the graduates were 10 students from Baku State University – Bahar Agayeva, Milana Rustam, Gulyanaq Sariyeva, Aydan Khammadli, Aysu Ahmadli, Haqiqah Jafarova, Gozal Jabbarova, Gunel Yagubova, Nargul Ibrahimli, and Zeynab Badalova.
