Students and staff of the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science at Baku State University (BSU) visited the IDEA Animal Care Center as part of a trip organized by BSU Volunteers.
During the excursion, participants were provided with detailed information about the history, main areas of activity, and goals of the Center. It was noted that the IDEA Animal Care Center was established in October 2014 by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of the IDEA Public Union. The construction of the Center was completed at the end of 2016, and its official opening took place on November 10, 2016, with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva. The Center has been officially operating since March 1, 2017.
Students were also introduced to the Center’s modern facilities, including a fully equipped veterinary clinic, shelters for dogs and cats, quarantine units, adoption area, pet hotel and grooming salon, playgrounds, dormitory, conference hall, café, and shop.
