Training for BSU students: “Modern Geotechnologies and Mineral Resource Processing”

Baku State University (BSU), jointly through the Student Trade Union Committee (THIK) and the “BDU Volunteers” organization, organized a training for students on the topic “Modern Geotechnologies and Mineral Resource Processing” at the Faculty of Geology.

During the training, Rasim Ismayılov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mineral Resources and Doctor of Philosophy, presented on the applications of modern geotechnologies, stages of mineral deposit processing, environmental safety considerations, and innovative approaches. He also highlighted examples of the practical application of scientific knowledge in modern production.

The session aimed to enrich students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience, enhance their scientific potential, and showcase new approaches applicable in their future professional careers. The training included a Q&A session to engage participants further.

Following the presentation, students visited BDU’s “Mineral Resources” Museum. They explored various mineral specimens, rare mineral collections, and geological exhibits, which sparked great interest among the attendees.
