The Career and Alumni Center of Baku State University (BSU) continues to hold informative meetings with first-year students. These meetings aim to familiarize students with the Center’s areas of activity and the wide range of opportunities it offers, as well as to provide information about resources that can support their professional development.
During the meeting held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, BSU Career and Alumni Center representatives Ilkin Sharifov and Malakhanim Gurbanova emphasized that the Center’s primary mission is to enhance the knowledge and skills of qualified specialists and prepare them to meet the demands of the labor market. They noted that students can benefit from the Center’s services by learning how to plan their careers effectively, develop professional and personal skills, set clear career goals, create modern and competitive CVs, acquire efficient job search strategies and interview techniques, and gain competencies in various other areas.
Participants were also informed about the training programs, seminars, and projects conducted by the Center. It was highlighted that by engaging in these activities, students can explore innovations in the field of career development and gain insights from international experiences, helping them to shape their own growth paths.
At the end of the session, numerous questions from the students were answered.
