A lecture on "Animal Ecology" was held for students of the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science of Baku State University (BSU) at the Baku Zoological Park, utilizing innovative teaching methods.

The students were provided with information about various animal species living in the zoo, their lifestyle, ecological features, and ethology. They also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with several animal species, including the bearded agama, common boa, eublephar, Madagascar cockroach, and many other species from the insect class, through hands-on learning.

Following that, the students were introduced to examples of local fauna from Azerbaijan and various animal species from different geographical regions within the park. They were also informed about the protection of species listed in Azerbaijan’s "Red Book," efforts to eliminate ecological threats to populations, and the reintroduction program being implemented in the area.
