A meeting of the regional section of the II International scientific-practical conference "From Inclusive Education to Inclusive Society" (ITIC 2024) was held at the Kazakh branch of Baku State University (BSU).

The conference was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, Baku State University, and Baku Slavic University.

BSU vice-rector Shahin Panahov noted that important work has been done in the field of inclusive education in Azerbaijan and the relevant legislative framework has been formed. The implementation of the "Inclusive Education Project" in Azerbaijan has been started since 2005. The State Program for the Development of Inclusive Education for Persons with Disabilities in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018-2024, approved by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, ensures the right to education of children with disabilities on an equal level with other persons at all levels of education and without obstacles for their education. creates wide opportunities in environment creation.

Anar Nagiyev- rector of Baku Slavic University noted that the purpose of the conference is to investigate the ways of involving persons with limited health opportunities in inclusive education and to determine the future steps related to their integration into society. He noted that inclusive education ensures the equal education rights of both healthy and disabled children, and this creates conditions for the protection of social equality in society.

The dean of the Faculty of Education of Baku Slavic University Sevinj Akhundova, the head of the Department of General Pedagogy of Baku State University Lazifa Gasimova, the head of the education sector of the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Education Department Ruslan Rzayev spoke about the work done in the field of inclusive education in their speeches.

Arzu Mammadova, the Head Teacher of the Elementary Education Department at Baku Slavic University, addressed the theme of "Enhancing the Content of Inclusive Education in Higher Education Institutions." Goychek Pirverdiyeva, an educator at Ganja State University, explored "Critical Attributes Underpinning the Significance of Inclusive Education." Ayshan Gasimova, an educator at the Gazakh branch, discussed "Facilitating the Socialization and Integration of Children with Disabilities into Society." Nurida Guliyeva shared insights on the "Socialization of Primary School Students within Inclusive Classroom Settings." Vafa Ilyasova elaborated on the "Requisites for Implementing Inclusive Education at the School Level." Govhar Mammadtaghiyeva provided perspectives on "Accommodating Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder within Inclusive Classroom Environments." Alaviya Omarova delved into the "Pedagogical Approaches for Effective Teaching in Inclusive Settings." Gulnar Abdullayeva shed light on the "Key Collaborative Partnerships in the Context of Inclusive Education." Finally, Aybeniz Murguzova presented on "Aligning Inclusive Education Practices with Labour Market Dynamics."
