The Scientific Library of Baku State University (BSU) has conducted a webinar titled "Usage Rules of the EBSCO Discovery Service System." The webinar was organized by the Azerbaijan Library Information Consortium (Az.KIC), with representatives from EBSCOHost, Alexander Rutau and Kristina Rudak, serving as moderators.

The event was attended by more than 40 leading staff members and employees from the BSU Scientific Library and the libraries of 12 higher education institutions in the country. The webinar began with a detailed discussion of the global scientific resources accessible through the EBSCO Discovery Service system, a demonstration of how to search within the system, and recommendations for properly organizing work with this system in libraries. The presentation highlighted that the EBSCO Discovery Service is a comprehensive integrated search system that allows for searching articles and bibliographic information from external publications and provides electronic access to full-text documents licensed by the organization.

Access opportunities to the system were demonstrated using several higher education institutions through the BSU interface, and participants were taught how to use full-text resources by accessing BSU's electronic library in guest login mode. The activity of logging into the system with the username and password assigned to each higher education institution was checked.

At the end of the webinar, participants' questions were answered, and it was announced that they would receive certificates.
