On the initiative of the "BSU Volunteers" organization, a concert program titled “Brotherhood” was held at Baku State University (BSU), dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” and the 19 May – Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
Vice-Rector for International Relations at BSU, Shahin Panahov, emphasized the importance of declaring 2025 as the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" for the development of national statehood and legal awareness. He spoke about the exceptional role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan’s progress, the successful domestic and foreign policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev, and the new regional realities shaped by the victory in Karabakh. Shahin Panahov highlighted the deep historical roots of the ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, which are based on a shared language, religion, and cultural heritage: “Today’s concert program, prepared by Turkish students of BSU, is a true symbol of our unity.”
Speaking on behalf of Turkish students at BSU, Muhammed Nazım Koylu noted that the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day is not merely about remembering a historical event, but a symbolic day that guides the future of youth and emphasizes their role in society.
