Baku State University (BSU) is participating in the 11th Baku International Book Fair organized by the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition, held at the Baku Expo Center, is dedicated to the theme “Techno-Human: The Legend of Yesterday, the Phenomenon of Today” and runs from October 1–7, 2025.
At the exhibition, books, textbooks, and teaching materials published over the past two years by the university’s faculty and preserved in BSU’s Scientific Library are on display. In addition, the BSU Publishing House presents the recent four series of the “News of Baku University” journal, as well as conference proceedings, textbooks, teaching aids, and monographs produced by the university’s faculties.
An informational video featuring the university’s history, activities, and academic and pedagogical achievements is also screened at the stand.
Visitors are provided with detailed information about the publications and receive BSU-branded printed materials such as notebooks, brochures, notepads, and pens as souvenirs.
BSU’s participation in the exhibition promotes the university’s scientific and educational potential to the broader public and creates opportunities for direct engagement with students and young book enthusiasts.
On the opening day, in the Baxtiyar Vahabzade and Uzeyir Hajibeyli presentation zones, the book “Fidan Flowers” authored by Majid Heydarli (Seyyid Asri), a staff member of the BSU Scientific Library, was also presented.
