Baku State University (BSU) participated with a stand at the “Times Higher Education (THE) Eurasian Universities Summit”, held in Baku on September 24–25 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and the international ranking agency THE.
This year’s summit, dedicated to the theme “Transnational Research: From Knowledge to Global Impact”, brought together over 300 participants from more than 20 countries, 150 higher education institutions, and more than 50 international and local speakers. Discussions focused on global research collaborations, universities’ contributions to socio-economic development, and the role of higher education in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Within the summit, BSU’s stand provided participants with comprehensive information about the university’s scientific achievements, international collaborations, initiatives in sustainable development, and future strategic goals. Visitors learned about BSU’s educational and research opportunities, participation in international projects, and its position within the global academic network.
BSU’s representation with a stand at this prestigious event contributes to strengthening the university’s international ranking, expanding partnership opportunities, and promoting Azerbaijan’s higher education system on the global stage.
