The Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of Baku State University (BSU) has launched a series of orientation and awareness-raising sessions for first-year students.
The initial meetings were organized for students of the Faculty of International Relations and Economics, as well as the Faculty of History.
Speaking at the sessions, the Chairman of BSU STUC, Zöhrab Javadzade, provided detailed information about the projects implemented by the Committee. He emphasized that the activities of STUC cover all aspects of student life. He also noted that the BSU Sports and Wellness Center, operating in collaboration with the Committee, regularly implements projects aimed at ensuring students’ effective leisure time and promoting a healthy lifestyle. BSU students consistently achieve high results in inter-university competitions.
Ramin Samadov, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Policy, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the activities of the University’s structural units and invited students to actively participate in youth organizations’ initiatives and the university’s social life.
Representatives of the BSU Culture and Creativity Center and the Career and Alumni Center also provided insights into their respective activities, further informing students about opportunities available to them at the university.
