Students from Baku State University (BSU) are participating in the “Cyber Summer School 2025” held from July 21 to 26 at the State Security Service’s “Bilgah” Recreation Center, organized by the Azerbaijan Association of Cybersecurity Organizations. Representing BSU are lecturer-mentor Natig Guliyev and students from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics: Rasul Rasulzadeh, Almaz Israfilova, and Nubar Maharramova.

The summer school is a unique platform aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills in information security and cybersecurity while promoting international knowledge exchange. In addition to Azerbaijan, this year’s event hosts students from Türkiye, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

As part of the program, participants engage in hands-on cybersecurity training, lab sessions in “Red Team” and “Blue Team” formats, meet-up sessions with experts, and presentations by international vendors such as CrowdStrike and Cisco.

BSU students’ participation in this event allows them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, explore cutting-edge technologies, and strengthen both local and international networking.
