The “BSU Volunteers” organization, together with students from the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science, held an awareness-raising event dedicated to the International Recycling Day.

The event addressed key issues such as proper waste management, the importance of recycling, and the preservation of ecological balance.

The primary goal was to enhance environmental awareness among students, teach them practical ways to reuse waste materials, and encourage the integration of eco-friendly habits into daily life. The positive impact of recycling on the environment, efficient use of resources, and contributions to ecosystem preservation were explained in detail to the participants.

Discussions highlighted the global and local impact of environmental problems. Students were informed about the proper sorting of plastic, paper, and other materials for recycling and were given practical recommendations to reduce waste and strengthen their ecological responsibility in everyday activities.
