Starting from the new academic year, the UNESCO Department of Human Rights and Information Law at Baku State University's Faculty of Law will launch a new master's level program focusing on "Cultural Law" specialization. This educational initiative aims to foster the foundational development of cultural law both internationally and domestically. The curriculum will cover topics such as legal frameworks governing culture, sector-specific competencies of relevant institutions, national legislative analysis, legal frameworks for cultural services, international cultural field regulations, and safeguarding human rights in cultural contexts. The program's primary objective is to cultivate a cadre of skilled legal professionals capable of safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage.
