01-10-2025

The Legal Clinic operating at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University (BSU) is expanding its scope of activity.

Supervised by BSU’s law scholars and composed of active students from the faculty, the Clinic primarily aims to provide free legal assistance to low-income families as well as to victims of cybercrimes and cyber exploitation.

Applicants receive both a package of legal consultations and practical support in defending their rights. In line with modern requirements, the Legal Clinic also offers online consultation services, with applications accepted through digital platforms.

In addition, the Clinic organizes educational trainings, seminars, and practical sessions for youth, students, and the general public. These events cover topics such as safe behavior in digital environments, personal data protection, legal defense mechanisms, cybersecurity, and the protection of human rights. Establishing cooperation with Legal Clinics of foreign universities is also one of its key objectives.

Furthermore, the Clinic conducts public awareness campaigns, events, and social projects to promote legal literacy, build a culture of law, and contribute to the development of civil society.
