During the final meeting of the Scientific Council of Baku State University (BSU) for the 2023/2024 academic year, the need to investigate illegal activities against environmental protection and to prevent violations in this area was emphasized. It was decided to establish the ECOLEAD Clinic to enhance the effectiveness of these efforts by facilitating knowledge sharing and operational functions.

On June 24, 2024, at a scientific-practical conference in Khankendi, titled "The Role of Education and Law Enforcement in Strengthening the Environment," an agreement was signed among the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and Baku State University regarding the ECOLEAD project.

The ECOLEAD platform will consist of key components, including "ECOLAB," "Ecoclinic," and "Cerima Park - Nature's Revenge," which will significantly contribute to addressing environmental issues.

This platform aims to foster collaboration among professionals to tackle post-conflict environmental challenges, particularly in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.

The establishment of the ECOLEAD Clinic at BSU is crucial for the effective implementation of tasks and the timely resolution of environmental issues. The clinic will facilitate swift action in identifying, preventing, and addressing the consequences of environmental violations.
