In accordance with the curriculum, undergraduate final-year students from the Faculties of Geography, Ecology and Soil Science, and Biology at Baku State University (BSU) began their field training programs on May 14. The training will take place in the regions of Quba, Shamakhi, Gabala, and Lankaran.
During the program, students will become familiar with the physical-geographical, economic-geographical, hydrometeorological, and tourism-recreational characteristics of these areas, as well as their economic sectors. They will also gain insights into the population, landscape, water resources, soil, and vegetation cover of the respective regions.
Additionally, starting on May 27, final-year undergraduate students of the Faculty of History will undertake training at the Gabala Archaeological Center, Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve, Quba Genocide Memorial Complex, and the Shamakhi City History and Ethnography Museum.
