Students from the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science at Baku State University (BSU) participated in an interactive lesson at the Azerbaijan Geology Museum, part of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (EMSN), as a component of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World."

The interactive lesson aimed to enhance the students' ecological awareness and explore the economic potential of Azerbaijan's mineral resources, in line with the curriculum.

Lala Bayramova, an associate professor in the Department of Geographical Ecology at BSU, provided the students with comprehensive information about the discovery, extraction, and industrial application of mineral resources. The lesson covered the complex geological structure of Azerbaijan, mineral resources from various eras and periods, the prospects of potential raw material deposits, the economic viability of nature-production relations, and methods for maintaining natural balance.

At the conclusion of the lesson, museum employees answered the students' questions.
