International students of Baku State University (BSU), led by Gulshan Maharramova, an English language instructor at the Faculty of Philology, visited the city of Ganja.
The purpose of the visit to Ganja — a city known for its rich historical and cultural heritage — was to promote intercultural dialogue and foster solidarity among students from different countries. Students from Indonesia, Iraq, Türkiye, Chad, the Comoros Islands, and Thailand took part in the visit.
During the trip, the students explored several historical and cultural landmarks, including the “Imamzadeh” religious complex, Ganja Fortress Gates – Archaeology and Ethnography Museum, the mausoleum and museum of Nizami, the mausoleum of Javad Khan, Khan Garden, Ganja City Executive Power, Ganja Bazaar, and Lake Goygol. The international students emphasized that learning about Ganja’s rich history was an important step toward intercultural cooperation and enhancing student life.
