The production internship of 4th-year students majoring in Ecology at the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science of Baku State University (BSU) has been successfully completed at “Eco Monitoring” LLC.

During the internship, students became acquainted with all areas in which “Eco Monitoring” LLC specializes. They were trained in the preparation of ecological normative documents required by legislation for industrial, social, commercial, public catering, and other service facilities, as well as the process of coordination with relevant state bodies (institutions).

In addition to studying the potential natural and anthropogenic impacts on the environment and human health, students gained detailed knowledge about “Environmental Impact Assessment” and other ecological regulatory documents (Ecological Passport, “Regulations on the Passportization of Hazardous Waste,” Permissible Waste Limit (ABTH), Permissible Discharge Limit (BBAH), “Report on Harmful Substances Emitted into the Atmosphere” (2Tg), reclamation projects, etc.).

At the end of the internship program, student Leyla Guliyeva was hired at “Eco Monitoring” LLC. It was noted that other students participating in the internship will also be supported in obtaining employment in relevant fields at companies cooperating with “Eco Monitoring” LLC.
