A meeting was held between the staff of the Career and Alumni Center of Baku State University (BSU) and the deputy deans for social affairs and student relations of the faculties. The purpose of the meeting was to support the career development of students and alumni, ensure their successful integration into the labor market, and strengthen cooperation between the university and employers.

Head of the Career Planning Department, Gunel Qurbanova, delivered a presentation on the Center’s activities, services, events, and projects aimed at students, alumni, and employers. She emphasized that analyzing students’ career needs by faculty, tracking alumni employment statistics, and strengthening alumni-student connections are among the Center’s priorities. Equipping students and graduates with professional skills and ensuring smoother integration into the labor market are essential goals. Achieving these objectives requires joint activities between the Center and faculties, effective information exchange, and active engagement of students and alumni.

During the meeting, issues related to enriching the alumni database and establishing accountability mechanisms were clarified. The deputy deans shared their recommendations regarding the implementation of projects and events, as well as the enhancement of the alumni and student database.
