The rector of Baku State University (BSU), Elchin Babayev, met with the active members of the university's youth organizations who actively participate in public life.
The rector emphasized that the state youth policy in Azerbaijan is being successfully implemented and underlined the important role youth organizations play in this policy. He noted that alongside its academic and scientific work, BSU trains highly qualified young professionals who actively contribute to the country's socio-political and cultural life, help strengthen statehood, and are educated in the spirit of patriotism and national consciousness. He added that student youth organizations have become the driving force of the university’s social and public life.
Elchin Babayev also highlighted BSU’s recent progress in international rankings and acknowledged the significant role of students in these achievements. He reaffirmed that the university will continue to support student initiatives.
The rector highly appreciated the work of students employed in BSU’s structural units and faculties and encouraged them to propose new initiatives.
It should be noted that currently, BSU is home to the “BDU Volunteers” organization, the Student Trade Union Committee, the Student Youth Organization, the Student Scientific Society, and the “YENI Club”.
