A new session of the “Meeting with an Alumnus” project, titled “Advancing Towards the Future through Yüksəliş”, was held at Baku State University (BSU), organized by the Career and Alumni Relations Center. The event brought together BSU alumni and winners of the “Yüksəliş” (Ascension) competition — Sabuhi Goyushov, Leyla Khalilova Rzazade, and Nicat Gojayev.

Gunel Gurbanova, Head of the Career Planning Department at the Career and Alumni Relations Center, highlighted that the project aims to connect current students with BSU graduates, enabling successful alumni to share their knowledge and experience to support students' professional and personal development.

During the event, Leyla Khalilova Rzazade, a winner of the first “Yüksəliş” competition and Head of the Strategic Planning and Analysis Department at the Ministry of Science and Education, delivered a presentation titled “A New Perspective in Public Administration: The Rise of Youth.”
Sabuhi Goyushov, winner of the fourth “Yüksəliş” competition and Director of the Legal Department at PASHA Life Insurance, spoke on “Effective Team Strategies.”
Nicat Gojayev, Head of the Compliance with Tax Obligations Department at the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, delivered a talk titled “Thriving Through Change.”

All speakers shared insights from their personal journeys, career decisions, and achievements gained through their participation in the “Yüksəliş” competition.

The event concluded with a panel discussion where students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speakers.
