Baku State University (BSU) recently hosted a scientific seminar titled "Basic Approaches in the Design of Quantum Materials with Topological Insulator and Thermoelectric Properties and Research of Their Properties."
Khatira Mehtiyeva, a specialist in the research and innovation sector at the Center of Excellence for Research, Development, and Innovations at BSU, and a doctoral student in the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials in the Faculty of Physics, provided extensive information on the significance of topological insulating and thermoelectric materials. She discussed current strategies for enhancing these materials' properties and their various applications.
Notably, Khatira Mehtiyeva conducted scientific research on this topic for six months at the University of Calabria in Italy. She shared her research findings and presented the project "Mineralogical Analysis of Rocks by X-ray Diffraction," which aligns with the industrialization strategy of Baku State University.
