The "Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week" continues at Baku State University (BSU) under the organization of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC). On the third day of the week, a meeting was held with the students of the "Young Talents" Lyceum under BSU, within the framework of the SDG goal "Quality Education." The purpose of the meeting was to inform students about the importance of quality education, its opportunities, and the challenges in this field.

Zohrab Javadzade, Chair of BSU's STUC, spoke about the education policy in Azerbaijan and highlighted that increasing human capital is considered a priority in legislation, strategies, and programs.

Farhad Aydinli, Head of the Educational Process Management Department at BSU's Center for Teaching Organization and Management, emphasized the importance of education and its role in the development of society. He also stressed the importance of gender equality, reflected in the "Quality Education" goal, and the need for its proper implementation across all types of educational institutions. He then introduced the students to the teaching and scientific activities of BSU, which laid the foundation for the country's higher education system and created a school with its traditions.

Khanim Dashdemirova, Deputy Chair of the Education Development Fund, provided an interactive presentation, sharing information about the projects carried out by the organization. She stated that quality education plays a fundamental role in building healthy citizens and that the Fund currently ensures the development of education at all levels through various programs and projects.

The guests at the meeting emphasized that choosing the right profession is a crucial step in planning one's future life, and they expressed their readiness to provide support in this regard.

At the end of the meeting, students' questions on the topic were answered, and advice was given.
