A summer camp dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” for students and children of martyrs and veterans has officially opened in Quba, co-organized by Baku State University (BSU), the Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC), the “BSU Volunteers” organization, and the “Amanat” Personal Development Support Project for Children of Martyrs and Veterans.
The camp participants first visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Quba and laid flowers in his memory.
Ramin Samedov, Head of the BSU Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Policy, officially declared the camp open and highlighted the active role of the “BSU Volunteers” in the university’s public activities. He noted that the patriotic projects implemented at BSU contribute significantly to shaping youth in the spirit of national and moral values and enhancing their sense of social responsibility. He also briefed participants on the camp’s program.
Ramin Habibzadeh, Deputy Director General of ICYF-ERC, expressed gratitude to all organizations and individuals involved in organizing the camp and spoke about the favorable conditions created for students and children of martyrs and veterans during the camp.
Serkhan Bagirli, head of the “Amanat” project, stated that this initiative supports the development of youth and children. He emphasized that this is the fifth summer camp held under the project.
The camp is being held from July 26 to 29 at BSU’s Educational-Practical and Recreation Center in Quba. The program includes training sessions, awareness-raising meetings, cultural activities, and recreational games for the participants.
