The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Azerbaijan office, in collaboration with the Student Youth Organization of the Faculty of Biology at Baku State University (BSU), held an awareness-raising meeting. The goal of the meeting was to foster ecological thinking among students and increase their knowledge about the protection of rare and endangered species.

During the event, Konul Ahmadova, the project manager of WWF Azerbaijan, gave a presentation on significant projects aimed at protecting rare and endangered animal species in Azerbaijan. She provided detailed information on efforts such as the reintroduction of gazelles into the wild, as well as the conservation of leopards and Caucasian vultures.

The meeting continued with interactive discussions, and the participants' questions were answered.
