The "Career Path" project info sessions organized by the Career and Alumni Affairs Center of Baku State University (BSU) have been launched. The project is designed for first and third-year students from the Faculties of Ecology and Soil Science, Philology, Geography, History, Information and Document Management, and Oriental Studies.
During the opening event, detailed information was provided about the activities of the Career and Alumni Affairs Center. It was noted that the main goal of the center is to develop students' professional skills and ensure their successful entry into the labor market. To achieve this goal, students will be introduced to internship programs and job opportunities from various companies.
The essence and main directions of the "Career Path" project were explained to the participants. As part of the project, training will be organized in 5 modules. Each module is interconnected. Participants will be provided with individualized approaches, mentoring services, practical assignments, and knowledge on career planning using SMART principles.
The project will offer students the opportunity to identify their strengths and weaknesses, learn about promising professions, analyze the labor market, familiarize themselves with various job search tools and strategies, and learn how to create professional CVs and resumes. Participants will be selected through an interview process. At the end of the project, students will have the necessary knowledge and skills to enter the workforce.
