At Baku State University (BSU), the Student Trade Union Committee, Student Youth Organization, Student Scientific Society, and "BSU Volunteers" participated in an educational training on the topic "Student Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals." The event was organized under the initiative of BSU’s Quality Assurance Center and led by the Rector’s Advisor on Quality Assurance, Asiman Ilyasov.
The main goal of the training was to provide students with comprehensive information about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), increase their knowledge and initiative in this field, and support the formation of a culture of sustainable development at the University.
In his speech, Asiman Ilyasov encouraged students to become more actively involved in sustainable development initiatives. He emphasized that students’ involvement in this area makes a significant contribution to the overall development strategy of the University.
Participants presented various initiatives and ideas, offering suggestions for organizing public awareness campaigns and implementing socially and environmentally focused projects.
