The world's largest aviation, space, and technology festival, "TEKNOFEST," will be held from May 1 to 4, 2025, in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). This year, more than 15,000 teams and 47,000 participants have applied to the competition, which consists of 7 categories and 16 subcategories.

The project "Irrigo – Sustainable Agricultural Ecosystem," presented by the Baku State University (BSU) "BDU TETYM" team, earned high marks in the "TEKNOFEST TRNC Research Projects" category and qualified for the final stage.

This system ensures the purification, recycling, and preparation of wastewater for irrigation, offering numerous innovative functions based on the "IoT" and "Smart Village" concepts for entrepreneurs and farmers.

The project’s prototype, website, and mobile application are currently being developed by BSU students who are members of the team.
