As part of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Baku State University (BSU) and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University of Turkey, a four-day training program on the topic of “Quality Assurance System in Higher Education” has been launched. The initiative is supported by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and organized by BSU’s Quality Assurance Center.
The training sessions are conducted by experienced experts from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. In addition to BSU, representatives from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan Technical University, Khazar University, and Ganja State University are also participating in the program.
At the opening of the training, Asiman Ilyasov, Advisor to the BSU Rector on Quality Assurance, emphasized the importance of establishing effective and sustainable quality assurance systems in universities and highlighted the value of international collaboration in this area.
Following that, Hüseyin Şimşek, Vice-Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, provided detailed insight into the objectives and goals of the training, underlining the significance of mutual exchange of experience in higher education between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
This initiative represents a significant contribution to strengthening strategic cooperation in the field of higher education between Azerbaijan and Turkey, while promoting continuous development and experience-sharing in quality assurance practices.
