The presentation ceremony of the “Hanifa Malikova-Zardabi Scholarship Program 2025” was held within the framework of the “Supporting the Education of Young Girls” project, jointly organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Education Development Fund.
This academic year, 93 female students will benefit from the scholarship program, 23 of whom are students of Baku State University (BSU).
During the event, 23 BSU students who were awarded the monthly scholarship—having also achieved high results in university entrance exams—were honored: Aysevər Baghirova, Zəminə Nurəliyeva, Fatimə Akhundzade, Nəzrin Saadova, Leyla Abdullayeva, Aytən Huseynli, Zeynəb Aliyeva, Aytac Karimli, Sənubər Mammadova, Aysu Akhundova, Ayşə Mehrəliyeva, Duyğu Asgarli, Mələk Shoyubova, Aylin Guliyeva, Aliyə Asgarova, Fidan Agasiyeva, Ağabikə Israfilova, Nuray Muradli, Tamam Abbasli, Elay Karimli, Ünzülə Manafli, Türkan Ibrahimova, and Aytac Pashayeva.
It should be noted that since its launch in 2021, the scholarship program has aimed to draw public attention to girls’ education (promoting equal and inclusive learning opportunities), encourage gender equality by strengthening the role of young women in society (supporting their empowerment and participation), and ensure their access to modern educational resources (enhancing their academic and professional development).
