Sakina Hajizada, a third-year student majoring in Social Work (Russian section) at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University (BSU), has set a new national record among U-23 women in the shot put event.
Competing at the Azerbaijan Athletics Championship, Hajizada achieved a distance of 14.09 meters, surpassing the previous Azerbaijani U-23 women's record of 14.00 meters established by Tatyana Ivanova in 1979.
This outstanding achievement marks a significant milestone in her sporting career and demonstrates her dedication, perseverance, and athletic excellence.
