Ismayil Zeynalov, a specialist at the Rector’s Secretariat of Baku State University (BSU) and a second-year master’s student at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, and Ismayil Ibrahimzada, a fourth-year student of the same faculty, have been selected as winners of the Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Program, jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation and Bakcell.
A total of 1,851 applicants applied for the program. Participants underwent several selection stages, including an initial assessment, testing phase, and final interviews. Following the completion of all evaluation stages, the 25 highest-performing candidates were selected as scholarship recipients.
Within the framework of the program, the successful participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, data analytics, programming, and UI/UX design. The training process will provide opportunities to work on real-world projects and acquire hands-on experience in professions that are expected to play a key role in the future labor market.
The achievement of BSU’s representatives reflects the university’s growing contribution to developing highly skilled specialists in advanced technologies and innovation-driven fields.
