Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

The Faculty of Physics at Baku State University (BSU) organized a scientific seminar hosted by the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials.

Throughout the seminar, Orkhan Gulahmadov, a third-year doctoral student from the department, presented a talk titled "Utilization of Hybrid Energy Systems Based on Triboelectric Nanogenerators in Smart Transport Technology." The presentation covered the fundamental aspects of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG), the influence of surface structures on TENG output parameters, and the practical application of such systems as energy generators and self-powered sensors. Additionally, the speaker shared research findings highlighting the relevance of applying TENGs in smart transport technologies and the development of hybrid energy systems serving as energy sources and sensors for various electronic systems on highways. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session where the speaker addressed questions from participants.
