Baku State University (BSU) and the Astana International University of the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Astana International University Rector Serik Irsaliyev.
The memorandum outlines cooperation aimed at enhancing teaching and learning processes within the faculties, institutes, and colleges of both universities and aligning them with international standards. It includes the implementation of joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, and training programs, as well as conducting collaborative scientific research. The agreement also covers joint publications in academic journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, the organization of training sessions, and the exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.
Established in 2024, Astana International University is among Kazakhstan’s prominent higher education institutions.
