Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Baku State University (BSU) Rector Elchin Babayev held a meeting with students awarded the “Birincilik” targeted scholarship.

The rector noted that, based on the decision of the BSU Academic Council, the scholarship is granted to students admitted to undergraduate programs in the 2025/2026 academic year who achieved the highest scores among applicants with over 550 points across various majors. He congratulated the recipients, describing them as the “top of the top”, and wished them continued success in their academic journeys.

Elchin Babayev emphasized that the scholarship encourages students to build their future career success stories from the very first year. He advised them to master modern technologies, work on personal development, learn a foreign language, and actively participate in BSU’s social and academic life, expressing confidence that they will maintain their top-ranking status and contribute to the university’s development.

In addition, BSU Rector’s Advisor on Science and Education Aydin Kazimzade, along with the deans of the Faculties of Social Sciences and Psychology, Oriental Studies, and Philology-Rovshan Javadov, Aydan Khendan, and Elchin Mammadov-congratulated the students and wished them success.

A total of 28 BSU students were awarded the “Birincilik” targeted scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.
