Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

At Baku State University, a scientific seminar titled “Opportunities of artificial intelligence in the application of biological models” was held at the Faculty of Biology as part of events dedicated to Science Day in Azerbaijan.

The seminar was aimed at presenting the applications of artificial intelligence in biology, genetics, and healthcare to students, master’s students, and young researchers, as well as explaining the impact of modern scientific technologies on biological sciences.

The speaker, BSU graduate in Genetics and current Research and Development specialist at Smart Solutions, Gulnar Huseynli Guluzade, provided insights into her professional activities and research in artificial intelligence technologies.

During the seminar, the role of artificial intelligence in scientific research and its mathematical and technological foundations were highlighted. Detailed information was presented on the importance of AI methods in analyzing large-scale scientific data. In particular, applications in biology, genetics, and healthcare were examined, including protein structure prediction, medical image analysis, and genomic data interpretation, supported by real scientific examples.

The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where participants’ questions were addressed.
